Dit project, dat deel uitmaakt van het certificeringsproces voor Grand Site de France, toont onze inzet en vastberadenheid om deze unieke en kwetsbare landschappen voor toekomstige generaties te behouden.<\/p>\n\n<p>De kustlijn die zich uitstrekt van Duinkerken tot Bray-Dunes staat al lang bekend om zijn natuurlijke schoonheid en ecologische diversiteit. Zich bewust van deze onschatbare waarde, besloot de regio zich in 2012 aan te sluiten bij het netwerk Grands Sites de France. Deze beslissing werd gevolgd door de goedkeuring van het Ministerie van Milieu voor de lancering van een Op\u00e9ration Grand Site (OGS) in het gebied van de Dunes de Flandre, wat het begin markeert van een groots initiatief.<\/p>\n\n<p>Het Fort des Dunes in Leffrinckoucke, een echt historisch juweel, staat centraal in deze aanpak. Gebouwd aan het begin van de 20e eeuw om de kust te beschermen tegen invasies, getuigt deze historische plek van het verleden, maar is het ook een strategisch punt om het natuurlijke erfgoed te observeren. Het biedt een uitzonderlijk uitzichtpunt en een ideale omgeving voor duurzaam toerisme en het vergroten van het milieubewustzijn.<\/p>\n\n<p>Naast het historische belang biedt het Fort des Dunes de Leffrinckoucke een uitzonderlijke omgeving om de plaatselijke flora en fauna te ontdekken.
